Back Home

Ian Jameson, the eight-year-old Denaby by who was injured in a fairground accident a fortnight ago, is back home again.

He was allowed home from Mexborough Montagu Hospital on Sunday, just over a week after the accident. Ian, of 21, Bolton Street, Denaby, was caught by fairground machinery while playing with his brother at a fairground near his home.

General Knowledge

The weekly General Knowledge at Denaby Tom Hill youth centre is still going strong, and looks like reaching in exciting climax. Still champions of the Thursday evening event are the members of the team led by Andrew McCunn.

Some Tom Hill Youth Centre members will be joining new woodworking classes to be the Tuesday evening at St Albans School. But the sessions, conducted by a former headmaster, Mr G Williamson, are not specifically for Youth centre members. Anyone may attend.
