Denaby Officials Severely Dealt With.

The Management Committee of the Midland League met at the King’s Arms Hotel, Sheffield, yesterday afternoon, Mr. J. Nicholson occupying the chair.

The most important business consisted investigating allegations against Denaby United. the Press were not allowed in the room while cases were considered, we cannot state what the charges against Denaby were, but the Committee came to the following decision:

“That for irregularities in connection with the Denaby United —Notts County Reserve match, on November 18, R. Dunn, an official of the Denaby club, be suspended from taking any part whatever in Midland League football in the future; and that J. Barlow, the secretary of Denaby, for irregularities in the signing of players and other mismanagement, shall also be removed from taking part in Midland League football.”
