The tie between these teams was played  at Mexboro’ yesterday.

Birdwell won the toos. and kicked down hill

At  half-time Birdwell were two goals and Denaby none.

The second half was very exciting and rough play was witnessed.  Hardie, the left outside for Denaby was sent off the field for attempting to strike one of the Birdwell men and referee. Mr. Parkin, of Attercliffe had to be guarded for quitting the field by the police.

Result Birdwell 2 goals. Denaby  0 goal.
