Played at Denaby before a fair number of spectators. Kilnhurst won the toss, and had the sun behind them.
Kilnhurst at once made for the home goal and quickly scored. Denaby then took up the attack and scored. Kilnhurst got twice more before the interval and Denaby once.

Played at Denaby before a good gate. Denaby won the toss, and had the breeze behind them.
The visit made for the home goal, but found the defence to look for them.
Then the home team took up the attack, and were still pressing when the whistle sounded for half time.
The second half was full of interest, each goal being visited in turn.
Towards the close Roper scored for Denaby, and a fast game ended with Denaby winning one goal to nil.

In the second half Denaby soon put on another goal, and put on three more goals before the close.

Played at Denaby before a good gate. Greasbrough won the toss, and had the wind behind them.
Denaby at once made for the visitors goal, and Hardy scored.
From the kick-off Greasbro’ made for the home goal and soon equalised.
Then Denaby began to press, and Roper scored. Denaby attacked again, and Hughes scored for them.
Before the interval Brookes and Rushforth scored for Denaby.
