Mexborough Rush For Wedlock.
In the Mexborough area of the Don Valley over eighty marriages have been solemnised during the last week of the old year.
Most of the ceremonies took place on Chgptmas Eve and Boxing Day.
Mexborough took the lead with 19 and Denaby 15, and this despite the overcrowding conditions that now exist in the valley.
