Denaby Schoolgirl’s Record.
At meeting of the Conisborough Education Committee, yesterday, Mr. J. Brocklesby presiding, it was reported that Elizabeth Butcher, who had attended the Balby Street Schools, Denaby Main, for nine years, had made 3,463 attendances out of a possible 3,466.
For the last five years she has not been absent nor late one half-day.
The Committee decided to present her with a suitable book.
