Denaby Team of Forty-One Years Ago

This photograph of the 1926-27 Denaby Athletic soccer team was passed on to the “South Yorkshire Times” by Denaby United chairman, Mr. Eddie Langford, whose brother, Mr. L. Langford, is seen on the right of the middle row of half-backs.

The picture belongs to Mr. G. A. Allport, seen on the far right of the front row. Mr. Allport, of 7, Drake Head Lane, Conisbrough, is a past Denaby United Supporters’ Club secretary.
