No Longer cup-tied, Denaby have five good matches dating February. , Tomorrow they are away to Burton (their first meeting with hem this season): Burton are a rung above Frickley with a slightly better record. Last season this away fixture was played in late -January. Denaby drew 2-2. They lost their, home fixture 4-2.
A week later (February12th) Denaby are at borne to Rotherham. The Millmoor Reserves are, unfortunately, having little better luck than Denaby, and perhaps if not.before, Tickhill Square supporters will look forward to a couple of points at long last. Last season Denaby won at Rotherham but lost at home. This is also their first meeting this season.
On February 19th Denaby go to Boston (the return match is on March 12th) and on February 26th are at home to Grimsby, to whom, at Blundell Park, they lost 6-0.
The pick of the month is the match with Shrewsbury–on February 14th. Denaby also lost 6-0 at Shrewsbury; (in September) this will be the first-time they have ever been to Tickhill Square.
