The feature of the Midland League game in which Bradford City Reserves beat Denaby United 2 —0 at Valley Parade, yesterday, was the brilliant goalkeeping of Brannan for the visitors. Shots were rained him from all angles, but he fielded the greasy ball cleanly and cleverly.
It was not until early in the second half that he was beaten close quarters by Medley. Later on, Scott, the City outside right got the ball in midfield, out into the middle, and went through on his own to score a very fine goal. Denaby made repeated raids, and Gilchrist had hard lines with shot that hit the crossbar.
