Castleford 2 Denaby United 0
Castleford proved too good for Denaby United and won by two goals.
Denaby were by no means outplayed, but most of the time they were well held.
Their best defender was Lee, who kept a splendid goal, while Hamilton was their most effective forward.
Robins was the “star” of the Castleford team.
The first goal was scored after about 35 minutes’ play by A. Tillotson. Walters scored the second five minutes from the end.
