Croot Goes to Bradford.

Denaby United on Saturday made another transfer, Croot, the half back who they got from Brodsworth at the beginning of their season, being signed by Bradford after the match with Mansfield.

Croot was one of their outstanding men in Denaby’s final trial game last August, and he at once took his place in the first team. Since then, except for one brief period when he showed slight loss of form, he had been a regular and consistent player in Midland league and cup matches.

Though not tall he is very strong and steady, tackles powerfully, and especially good in serving the men in front with low passes.

He is still on the 20, and has plenty of time still further to develop. He has made wonderful progress this season with Denaby. He is 5 foot 8 inches and weighs 11 stone.
