Denaby beat village rivals Northcliffe W.M.C. to take the Mexborough Montagu Charity Cup following a replay.
Conisbrough Northcliffe earlier held the Midland League side to a 0 – 0 draw, on March 31st. In the replay, on Sunday 3rd May at Hampden Road, Mexborough, Northcliffe battled bravely but just were not good enough, Whiley scoring the only goal of the game for Denaby.
