At Denaby, on Saturday, in wretched weather, before a mere handful of spectators. Lincoln did the bulk of the pressing at the outset, and in ten minutes’ play Sheldrake put through his own goal, and before the interval Lincoln added another.
No scoring took place in the second portion, but Lincoln had the best of matters.
Result: Lincoln City Reserve, 2 goals; Denaby United Reserve, 0 goals.
