Denaby United 0 Sheffield Wednesday Reserves 2
At Denaby, the home side being practically a reserve team. Denaby had the better of the exchanges, but play was poor.
Wharton cleverly cleared from a crowd of four. Parkinson once missed an easy chance from a centre by Croot, but the mistake was made good, Jones given Sheffield the lead.
Denaby continued to press and Horton was just wide with a low cross shot, whilst Phillips caught and cleared a long stinger from Tompkins.
30 minutes from the resumption Eades secured and placed Sheffield further ahead.
