Denaby Open With Home Defeat
Rotherham United Reserves defeated Denaby United 2-1 at Denaby on Saturday.
Neither side produced good football, but Rotherham displayed the better tactics. Denaby lacked understanding in midfield, and their forwards were neglected.
Rotherham were best served by Cocker, a former Denaby player, and Hughes, who each scored. Carr, Darby and C. Shephard did well for Denaby.
