Plenty of Goals at Denaby
Denaby United 2 Rotherham County Res 4
There was no suggestion of holiday football in the game played at between the home team and Rotherham County. Both sides exhibited pace and determination, but Denaby really lost their chance of victory in the first 25 minutes, which period the County put on three goals.
The home defence was weak and uncertain. Subsequently, however, Denaby gave good as they got. If anvthing, they were the more aggressive in the second half. The County showed very good football, but their defence was somewhat variable.
On the home side Tookey, the new inside man, more than satisfied, but Dodd was not an efficient substitute for J. Westwood.
