Five Chances, Five Goals
Manvers Win was Justified

Denaby United 0 Manvers Main 5

Denaby United, who played some very poor football, met with their first home defeat of the season in the “Derby” game with Manvers

The football Denaby displayed was well below the standard. Manvers had a sound site, and their victory was fully justified.

They were presented with five glorious chances which were snapped up by the fast-moving set of young forwards.

Denaby had some chances, but wasted them repeatedly. White, the Manvers goalkeeper playing well, stopping many hotshots, including a penalty taken by Shephard, who, incidentally, missed with a spot kick for the first time. Morallee did well at centre half, while for Denaby Ardron was most prominent.

Woofinden(2) Raynor, Philips and Burkinshaw scored for Manvers.
