Denaby’s Cup Tie.
In other newspapers it has been stated that Hull City intend to send their second team to Denaby on Saturday. There is certainly no authority for this statement and the Denaby club officials say they have had no intimation to this effect.
The Denaby secretary, (Mr. Peters), wrote to Hull for their team, and in reply, received a note to the effect that the Hull committee only meet on Thursday night.
Their team was badly knocked about at Bristol on Saturday last, and their exact constitution of the team to be sent to Denaby is rather doubtful, as they have no less than four players under the doctor.
It will be noticed in this communication there is no reference to the second team, and the possibility is that Hull will send their best available 11 to Denaby.
