After leading by the odd goal of three at the interval, Frickley Colliery in their home match with Denaby United yesterday defeated Denaby United 3 —2.
Their success was well deserved, for the forwards showed better finishing power.
Williams opened Frickley’s score after five minutes’ play. Before the interval Turnbull added second, Kaye reducing Denaby’s arrears close the interval.
During the second half Pagden added to Frickley’s lead, Kaye replying for Denaby.
