Bottom Club’s Useful Points
Heanor 2, Denaby 0
Denaby were surprised on Saturday when they were beaten by Heanor, who gained two, of the most useful points, they have obtained this season yet, for it removed them from the bottom position for the first time this season.
Whether it was that Pantling, Simpson and Allcock were too good for the defence, or whether it was the Denaby defence which were mediocre is doubtful, but the fact is that, the Heanor forwards did extremely well.
The first goal was scored just before the interval through Butler who gave Binney no chance.
Tinsley scored a second goal early in the second half.
