Hinckley 1 Denaby United 2
This fixture was decided at Hinckley on Saturday, in fine weather.
The ground was in a slippery condition. Hinckley had the advantage of the breeze, but Denaby were the first to be dangerous. Hinckley made many attacks, but could not score, many shots were well saved. Warren scored for Hinckley just before the interval.
Resuming, the visitors scored through MacNeil while Roper placed them ahead.
The home team pressed in vain. Wragg missed from a penalty, and Denaby won a creditable victory.
