Denaby fared badly at Hull yesterday, losing 6-1 to a team which showed itself superior in every department.
The Denaby forwards always lacked good combination. and when they got away were soon arrested by an excellent Hull defence. The Hull forward line brought off some very pleasing coups and three of their goals came before half-time.
Denaby’s goal came in the second half from a penalty taken by SIDDALL who played on excellent game against heavy odds.
Denaby entertain Nott.. County to-morrow and will field: Gale: Taylor, Mountney; Barrow. King. Smith; Siddall, Boyes, Walker, Fitzgerald, Haggar.
