Third Qualifying Round – Replayed
Hunslet 1 Denaby United 1.
This replayed tie was decided at Hunslet in splendid weather, before 500 spectators.
Hunslet played with the wind in the first half, but Denaby had rather the best of the play, although nothing was scored before the interval.
In the second half Sheldrake scored for Denaby and Duncanson equalised for Hunslet.
Extra time was played, in which Hunslet pressed, but the game terminated in another draw.
