Following a serious injury to Denaby United’s right half-back, McCormick. Leeds United Res., put on two goals, Boardman and Brock scoring before the interval.
Denaby, with nine men, put up a plucky fight, another visitor having to leave the field through injury, but Simpson scored for the home side late on, and Lee, the Denaby custodian saved a penalty-kick taken by Rodgerson.
