Denaby Get a Good Point
Nottinghm Forest Res 1 Denaby Utd 1
Denaby United altered their brief run of defeat by taking a well-deserved point from Nott’s Forest reserves on Saturday.
Result was one all and Martin got the goal (his 16th so far this season). It was scored four minutes after the start of the second half and wiped out the advantage Forest had held by a goal by Farmer, scored five minutes before the interval.
This point may Denaby one of the five clubs each with 20 points and fifth in the league table Frickley, Denaby, Boston, Lincoln, and York. Above them. Peterborough, the leaders, have 26, Rotherham 23, and Worksop and Scunthorpe 22 each.
One of them five, Boston, come to Denaby tomorrow and another attractive match is promised.
Williamson who returned to the Midland League side for Saturday’s visit to Nottingham, gave an excellent account of himself.
