Scarborough included four new players for their Midland League match with Denaby on Saturday. First goal of the game came one minute before half-time, when Scarborough were awarded a free kick practically on the penalty spot and Davis put the ball to Cook, who scored with a fast rising drive.

Denaby, who had been aggressive in the first half, opened smartly in the second half, and Brame was kept busy in the Scarborough goal. Scarborough swung back to the offensive but it was not until five minutes from the end that they got their second goal, Bell scoring.
