Denaby Lose Again
Sheffield Wednesday Reserves 4 Denaby United 2
Although Denaby United scored the first goal they were beaten 4-2 by Sheffield Wednesday Reserves.
Owing to travelling difficulties and essential work, Denaby were unable to field their strongest side.
Rogers and Froggatt excelled themselves for Sheffield, and Gibbs for Denaby. GIBBS scored for Denaby in the early stages, but EVERATT netted twice for Sheffield. Before the interval GIBBS levelled the scores.
Sheffield did all the pressing in the second half and EVERATT and FROGGATT scored.
