Denaby Get Both Points at Shirebrook.
Shirebrook 1 Denaby United 2
Shirebrook, after securing an early lead through Morris in their home match with United, failed to take advantage of many opportunities, and allowing the Denaby forwards too much freedom paved the way for their own defeat in the second half.
First Gilchrist scored, and then McGuiness added the inning goal, after Wilson had made two splendid close-range saves.
Morris missed the easiest of opportunities the closing stages, when, with only Brannan to beat, was slow to shoot, and the keeper was able to fall on the ball and smother his effort.
