Upton Master difficult conditions
Denaby were beaten 4-0 at Upton.
Gregory scored in the first half in which neither team was inclined to take risks on the treacherous surface. Soon after the interval Gregory put Upton further ahead.
From this point Upton played with more confidence and dominated the game further goals being scored by Terry and Hanks.
Three young players given a trial by Upton – Hodgson right back, Terry inside right and Mallinson centre half – played well.
