Denaby Wesleyans

The children attending the Wesleyan Chapel, numbering upwards of 300, on Monday marched through all the principal streets headed by the superintendent (Mr. J. Soar), and sang hymns, accompanied by Mr. M. Wilcox on an organ.

The smallest of the children rode on drays kindly lent by the Denaby Main Colliery Company.

After the parade the children and teachers adjourned to the chapel to partake of an excellent tea, and then all went into the cricket field, where all kinds of games and sports were carried on.
