Denaby Woman’s Violent Language

A policeman told the court that when he heard shouting coming from an Annerley Street, Denaby, he found a large crowd gathered round a Denaby housewife were shouting at the top of her voice and using abusive language.

The woman, Ivy Jones, of Annerley Street, Denaby, who pleaded guilty at work Doncaster West Riding Ct on Saturday using violent and abusive language and conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace by shouting was fined £2 with 4/- costs and bound over in £5 for 12 months.

She told the magistrates that she only swore once and that was in the house.
