Denaby 156 for 6 Doncaster Town 56

Declaring with a total of 156 Denaby beat Doncaster by exactly 100 runs in their first match of the season, on Saturday, at Tickhill Square.

The game opened tamely and no run was made by Denaby for quarter of an hour. Later, some excellent driving was done by Vollans who pulle the only six of the match. Tries by Vollans and Kennedy were prevented from reaching the boundary on a number of occasions by the length of the grass.

For Doncaster Dexter took three wickets for 39 runs, and for Denaby, Kennedy took three for eight and Palmer 2 for 4.
