Denaby’s First Gala

Denaby’s first swimming gala was held in the Miners Welfare baths on Saturday, the events being confined to boys from the five schools.

Rossington Street won the Squadron race with Morley Place second.

The “Go as you please” race was run by E Wright (Conisborough) with Scott (Denaby) runner up.

The breaststroke race was run by E Gallagher (Denaby) with J Hedworth (Conisborough) runner up.
