Denaby’s New Stand.
Welcome Addition at Tickhill Square.
Before the hick-off in Denaby’s match with Grimsby on Saturday, the new stand on the popular side of th3 Tickhill Square ground, was opened by Mr. H. C. Harrison, general manager of the Denaby and Cadeby
There was a fairly large attendance.
Mr. Harrison spoke of the revival of Midland League football in Denaby some years ago. The ground was acquired and made with the help of workmen of the Denaby and Cadeby collieries.
Now the club had provided the public with two stands. “Is there anything else you want?” asked Mr. Harrison.
A man in the crowd asked that the price of admission be reduced to half.
Mr. Harrison. in reply, said that to Justify that the attendance and must be doubled.
