Discord, and a Piano
A dispute piano was the subject ,of an action in the Doncaster County Court yesterday, when Elizabeth Lee, widow, Conisborough, brought an action to recover a piano, a stool and stand, or £15, from her son in-law and his wife, Charles Haigh and Maud Haigh.
It appeared that plaintiff stored some of her goods in 1904, and the defendants, with whom she left the piano and ether articles, had written a letter offering to give her £9 for the piano.
His Honour gave a verdict for £9, with an undertaking that it should be paid in a fortnight, the piano not to removed.
