Disorderly Conduct at Denaby
James Dalton, miner, of Denaby, was summoned for having refused to quit the licensed house of John Slater, of Denaby, on the 3rd November.
Defendant’s wife appeared.
The landlord stated that on the day named the defendant was in his house, and he was disorderly. Witness thought he had had sufficient drink, and he therefore ordered him out, but he refused to go. He was’ carrying on” with one or two of the company, at whom he was swearing. Witness ordered him out as soon as he came in, but he would not go out.
Major Hammond said the defendant had been before the court on one previous occasion.
Fined 1Os. and costs, or one month in default of payment.
