Distress at Denaby.

There are many bootless children in Denaby and many hungry workers,” said Mrs. Levers last night’s meeting of the Conisborough Urban District Council.

Something should be done, she said, to get help from the Prince of Wales Fund, and, she added, I do not know how the men are able to work.”

Councillor J. I. Webster seconded a resolution that aid be asked for, and said that he understood that the chairman of the Council was dealing with the matter, and that £200 was expected immediately.
