Dog Attacks Policeman.

Conisborough Owner Fined  at Doncaster.

George Ford, collier, Conisborough, was charged atthe Doncaster West Riding Court, today, with allowing a dog to stray at night.

The dog attacked an officer when on his rounds, and had to use his truncheon to defend himself.

Defendant, who did not appear, told the officer he had never known the dog attack anyone before.

A fine of 20s. was imposed.
