Dog without a Licence at Denaby

Abnor Wilkinson, draper, living at Doncaster, was summoned for keeping a dog without a license on his premises at Denaby on the 4th April.

Police constable Midgley stated that on the 4th April he was visiting the houses in Denaby examining dog licenses.

On going into the defendant’s yard he saw a black retriever dog, for which defendant had no license. Defendant was a draper living at Doncaster, but he had a lock-up shop at Denaby

Defendant did not appear and was fined 20s including costs.
