Soldier – Donaghue, Vaughan and Wright – Denaby Pals, inseperable (pictures)

Three inseparable Denaby main “pals” have enlisted, served and been wounded together:

 

Private M Donoghue (York and Lancaster) was wounded in the fought on July 2, and is now in hospital at Middlecester. He was aged 25 and his home was at 26 Cusworth Street.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Private T.E.Vaughan (York and Lancaster) was wounded in the leg, and is now in hospital at Chatham. He is married, with four children, and he also lived at 26 Cusworth Street.

Private J.Wright (York and Lancaster) was wounded in the arm, and is now in hospital in Eastbourne. He is aged 22, married, with one child, and lives at 85 Firbeck Street.
