Drinking by the Yard at Conisbrough

He is offering a prize of a 9 gallon barrel beer to the drinker who can drink 2 ½ pints of beer from the yards long horse in the shortest time.
Mr Franks has recently bought for these glasses which of a large bulb on the end of the long last which makes drinking from them very tricky.
The competition is the start of Sunday when preliminary heats are to be held will. Further heats are to be held on the following Sundays.
