Doncaster West Riding Police Court
At this Court, on Saturday, Thos. Morgan, collier, Denaby, was fined 42s. 6d.. including costs, for having boon drunk and disorderly at Mexborough.
John Hebditch, publican, Wadwortb, was charged with having permitted drunkenness on his premises.
A policeman depeeed to seeing a man stagger out of the defendant’s house and fall several times, being so intoxicated.
Eventually, being a tramp, he was placed on a cart and given a ride to Doncaster, where be waa summoned and sent to prison.
The publican pleaded that he was away from home at the time.
Fined 10s. and 14s. 6d. costs.
