Drunk And Disorderly At Conisbro’.

Wm. Lister, labourer, Conisbro’, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at that place, on the 11th inst.

Sergt. Morley deposed that on the 11th inst., at 10.30 he heard a disturbance in Denaby Road, Conisbro’, and found the defendant drunk and using very bad language. Requested him to go home. He went part of the way, as far as High Street, and then stopped again. Eventually he went home.

P.C. Munro corroborated the evidence of last witness.

Fined 10s. and 10s. costs.

John Glenn, collier, Conisbro’, was also charged with being drunk and disorderly at that place, on the 11th inst.—Sergt. Morley deposed that at about 10 p.m. he saw the defendant coming out of the “Eagle and Child” Inn, Conisbro’, very drunk.

On the road he was cursing and swearing at another man. Witness went to him and told him he would not have his disturbance there. In reply defendant said there would be a b——dy row before he went out of the street.

Fined 10s. and 10s. 6d. costs.
