Drunk and Disorderly at Conisbro’
Wm. Sheldon, collier, Denaby, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at Conisbro’, on the 19th inst.
Defendant did not appear, but was represented by his mother.
P.C. Munro deposed that on Sunday night, a little after ten o’clock, he was on duty in Station-road, Conisbro’, and found the defendant there very drunk, cursing and swearing, and making a great disturbance. Someone told him the police were coming, and he said he did not care for the bl—dy police.
The mother said she was very sorry indeed. Her son had been enticed away by some other young men, and they (parents) thought he was at a place of worship.
Fined 5s. and 10s. costs.
