Drunk and Disorderly at Denaby Main

Patrick Slattery, Patrick M’Hale, Thos. Mannion, and Patrick Pendergast were charged with having been drunk and disorderly at Denaby Main on the 1st inst.

Police-constable Kendall stated that he found the defendants on Denaby Bridge. Pendergast had lost his hat. He told the defendants to use better language, and was told by Pendergast to go to a very warm place. They were all drunk.

Pendergast, who did not appear, was fined 7s. 6d. and costs; the remaining defendants were ordered to pay 3s. and costs.
