Drunk at Conisboro’

Esther Chadwick, of Conisboro’, was charged with being drunk at that village.

Police-constable Guyee said the defendant did not appear because he told him if she did she would be sure to get drunk again. (Laughter.)

He proved the case, stating that he found the woman drunk and using bad language in Station-lane, Conisboro’, on the 29th ult., at six o’clock in the evening.

Defendant, who had been previously summoned, was fined 10s. and 8s. 6d. costs.
