Drunk at Denaby.
W. Turton was charged with being drunk and refusing to quit the Fullerton Arms, at Denaby, on the 9th inst.
Mr. Slater, the landlord, said defendant came to his house on the night in question. He ordered him to go out and he refused to do so. He stayed in the house from 6.30 to 8.30 and created a deal of disturbance. Sent for P.C. Midgley, whereupon defendant left the house.
A witness was called who proved that the landlord ordered defendant to leave the house, but he still remained.
P.C. Midgley also proved that defendant was drunk and disorderly.
Defendant said he had nothing to say for himself.—Fined 20s. and costs.
