Drunk & Disorderly

James Horan, collier, Denaby, who did not appear, had been summoned for having been drunk and disorderly in Doncaster road, Mexboro’, on the 19th January.

Police-constable Moore stated that at 10.15 on the night of the 19th he found the defendant drunk and disorderly in Doncaster road, with a crowd of people round him. He wanted to fight, and witness sent him about his business, but he turned round again and used bad language until two of his friends took him home.

Police-constable Milner stated that he saw the defendant in Doncaster road drunk and swearing.

A fine of 12s. 6d. and 12s. 6d. costs was imposed, as the defendant had neither put in an appearance nor sent any one to represent him.
