Drunken Denaby Woman

Does Damage to a Window.

Ellen Whitehead, married, of Denaby was charged at the instance of the Denaby and Cadeby Colliery Company with damage to windows at Denaby on April 30.

Mr Allen prosecuted.

PC Barnes said he was called to a disturbance in Edlington Street, Denaby, when he saw the defendant breaking a window. She was drunk.

Mr W.B.Simpkins, a property inspector for the Denaby Colliery Company said he had examine the window, and estimated the damage at 2/6.

The defendant, who did not appear, was fined 2/6 damage and 11/6 costs.
