A Denaby Century Maker.
Edward Tibbles, of Denaby Main, one of the most attractive batsmen in Yorkshire Council Cricket, who scored a century for Denaby at Wath on Saturday, joined the club at the beginning of last season from High Wycombe.
He had very bad luck last season, scoring 99 against Bentley.
In 1920 he made 82 for Buckinghamshire versus Hertfordshire. He has also had experience of Welsh cricket, being engaged before the war as a professional with the Hills Plymouth team along with Best, the Derbyshire bowler.
He is fine, forcing batsman always good to watch, and if present wickets hold, is likely to have a great harvest this season
